A freshwater lake in the heart of Hanoi, covering 12 hectares. It is associated with the legend of King Le Loi returning the magical sword. Surrounding the lake are famous landmarks like Turtle Tower, Ngoc Son Temple, and the Old Quarter.

4. St. Joseph’s Cathedral:
One of the oldest and largest churches in Hanoi, built during the French colonial period. If you visit during the green rice flake season (Autumn), you can try special local treats like Xoi Com (green rice sticky rice) and Banh Com (green rice cake) sold nearby.

5. Old Quarter of Hanoi:
From the cathedral, you can continue exploring the Old Quarter with its bustling streets. Each street is often named after the goods historically sold there.

– Hang Ma Street specializes in paper offerings used in spiritual rituals, burned as gifts for the deceased or deities (paper money, paper houses, paper cars, paper clothing).

6. Hoa Lo Prison:
A well-known historical site in the heart of Ha Noi, where the French colonial authorities imprisoned many Vietnamese revolutionary activists. During the American war in Vietnam, it was also used to detain numerous American pilots captured during their bombing campaigns.
